About the position

The Enterprise Sales Development Representative (SDR) at FiscalNote is responsible for prospecting and connecting with key executives in large businesses to develop leads and create growth opportunities. This role involves collaborating with an Account Executive to strategize outreach efforts, leveraging critical thinking and industry knowledge to anticipate business needs and drive sales success. The position emphasizes a consultative approach and requires a proactive mindset to achieve positive outcomes in a fast-paced technology environment.

Responsibilities

  • Engage potential clients through outreach efforts.
  • Perform cold outreach to potential clients.
  • Develop industry-specific policy expertise for consultative communication with senior-level executives.
  • Receive mentorship from the Account Executive and Manager.
  • Strategically plan account penetration.
  • Leverage Sales Enablement tools (like SalesLoft, ZoomInfo) to manage engagements with target prospects.
  • Develop a deep understanding of target personas and their needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
  • A consistent record of surpassing personal and organizational goals.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Some experience in business development or client outreach is preferred.
  • Knowledge of public policy and/or law is a plus.
  • A relentless drive to succeed and grow in the role.
