About the position

Airwallex is seeking a highly goal-oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our new Enterprise Sales Development team based in Austin. This position is ideal for individuals with a few months of experience in sales development, providing a unique opportunity to shape our initial processes and enhance the client experience with our platform. As an SDR, you will be responsible for generating and cultivating enterprise-level leads to sign up for our services. Your role will involve strategic messaging across various mediums, contacting decision-makers, and laying the groundwork for successful sales conversions. In this position, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders across Airwallex globally, relaying feedback and contributing to the development of our US go-to-market strategy. The role requires you to work in the office two days a week, with a hybrid schedule, and may involve occasional travel to conferences and events. You will join the fastest-growing team within Airwallex's Global Commercial organization, where you will have the autonomy and flexibility to refine our sales processes. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing plans in partnership with Account Executives (AEs) to close business with upper middle market and enterprise companies. You will also work with AEs to build outbound strategies, attract and establish relationships with executive stakeholders, and lead complex product workshops and financial analyses. Additionally, you will engage with Product and Engineering teams to help drive product strategy, ensuring that our offerings meet the needs of our clients effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and cultivate enterprise-level leads to sign up for the Airwallex platform.
  • Develop and execute sales plans in partnership with Account Executives (AEs).
  • Work with AEs to build outbound strategies to create and nurture opportunities.
  • Attract and establish relationships with executive stakeholders at new and existing clients.
  • Research and connect with leaders from multiple functions to lead complex product workshops and financial analyses.
  • Lead and contribute to team projects to develop sales processes.
  • Engage with Product and Engineering teams to help drive product strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 6 months of experience in sales, account management, or related customer service roles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
