About the position

Dodge Construction Network is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their New Business Sales team. This entry-level sales role serves as a foundational position for future development within the organization. The SDR will be the first point of contact for prospects, responsible for qualifying and generating new SaaS-based sales demos and opportunities to support Account Executives. Ideal candidates are energetic, ambitious, and possess a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Drive lead opportunities and develop new business via inbound and outbound phone calls (50/50) and utilize mass communication tools such as email and social media to introduce DCN products/services and drive demos.
  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly activity and sales lead quotas, updating progress within Salesforce.
  • Learn and apply solution-based selling using a consultative prospecting approach.
  • Continuously self-monitor to improve performance results.
  • Follow standard operating procedures set by management to achieve high success factors.
  • Maintain high call volumes to prospects.
  • Attain all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to improve lead to opportunity ratio and opportunity to win ratio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or a combination of relevant work experience.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with bonus points for bilingual English/Spanish speakers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and sales aptitude.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of cold calling to build a resourceful pipeline.
  • Adaptability for learning job responsibilities and processes.
  • Exemplary decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Results-driven with the ability to adapt to a fast-changing work setting.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency in a CRM and desktop software programs including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Some successful inside sales experience, particularly within large SaaS organizations.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry.

Benefits

  • Base Salary Range: $45,000 + UNCAPPED COMMISSIONS!
