In this position, you will work from home, supporting outside sales team members by nurturing inbound leads and proactively generating new leads through outbound activities. Your primary goal will be to convert leads into appointments and gather information that will assist the sales team in collaborating effectively with customers and prospects. The ideal candidate thrives on measurable results and enjoys working with clearly defined targets to track performance and income growth. You will need to demonstrate emotional intelligence, persistence, and a willingness to embrace the sales process, understanding that rejection is a natural part of the job. You will utilize various technology platforms and tools, including Microsoft Teams, Salesforce, Hubspot, and Zoominfo Engage, to engage with business leaders at all levels. The role involves researching potential clients to understand their challenges and motivations, generating closed sales of low-cost programs to small and medium businesses (SMBs), and setting appointments with larger companies through proactive prospecting and inbound lead activity. You will manage your own sales process from start to finish, and you will be compensated for both setting qualified meetings and closing your own sales. This position does not require any travel, allowing you to focus entirely on your sales efforts from the comfort of your home office.

Responsibilities

  • Support outside sales team members by contacting and nurturing inbound leads.
  • Proactively generate leads through outbound activities.
  • Convert leads to appointments and gather information for the sales team.
  • Research potential clients to understand the roles and responsibilities of HR and business leaders.
  • Generate closed sales of low-cost programs to businesses with under 1000 employees.
  • Set appointments with larger companies through proactive outbound prospecting and inbound lead activity.
  • Document interactions and insights in the CRM (Salesforce.com).
  • Comfortably engage with CEOs, C-level, and upper-level management in the HR and Talent space.
  • Maintain clean data within the CRM and track activities.
  • Persistently reach out via multiple channels to set up qualified appointments.
  • Handle multiple customers and assignments simultaneously.

Requirements

  • Strong technical and social media skills.
  • Experience making cold calls and working against defined goals or quotas.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com, Hubspot, or similar CRM preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize work assignments and adapt to changing needs.
  • Strong team orientation and collaboration skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Competitive and driven nature.
  • Excellent oral, written, and video conferencing communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field.
  • 1-3 years of business experience, preferably in an inside sales or sales support role.
  • 1-3 years of experience selling services or technology, preferably HR services.
