About the position

Paychex is seeking high-energy, driven professionals to join our Sales Development organization as Sales Development Representatives. In this role, you will focus on targeted prospecting to create sales opportunities for our selling partners. You will consult with potential clients, leveraging your expertise in Paychex products and services to help them thrive by utilizing the services that best meet their specific needs. This position is crucial in establishing the initial contact with prospects and setting the stage for successful sales engagements. As a Sales Development Representative, you will generate appointments for sales representatives through daily outbound targeted telephone sales. Building rapport with prospects is essential, and you will be responsible for nurturing relationships and conducting engaging conversations that lead to sales opportunities. You will partner with selling representatives to strategically target accounts and identify potential opportunities for Paychex, ensuring that our offerings align with client needs. In addition to prospecting, you will articulate our competitive advantages by highlighting our differentiators and demonstrating expertise in the overall value proposition tied to Paychex's suite of products and services. Effectively managing open opportunities and maintaining data updates within our CRM (salesforce.com) will be key to ensuring that an effective pipeline is nurtured and that sales representatives have the information they need to close deals successfully.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
  • H.S. Diploma - Required
  • 1 year of experience in lead generation or a blend of sales experience and business coursework.
