About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Medisafe plays a crucial role in supporting the Sales and Marketing initiatives by qualifying sales opportunities and meeting pipeline KPIs. This position is hybrid, based in the Boston area, and involves coordinating prospecting efforts across the sales team while leveraging marketing initiatives and assets. The SDR is expected to create a positive and lasting impression on prospective customers through various channels, including email, phone, and social media. This role requires a demonstrated track record as a Sales Development Representative with quantifiable results, showcasing the ability to engage potential customers effectively. In this role, the SDR will be responsible for prospecting and sourcing potential decision-makers, leading qualification meetings, and collaborating cross-functionally between the sales and marketing teams to qualify warm leads. The SDR will also be tasked with educating, qualifying, and developing target accounts and inbound leads to create sales-ready leads and opportunities. A significant part of the job involves working closely with the Marketing team to convert Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs). The SDR will proactively target and engage with potential prospects to qualify and set appointments for the sales executives, while also compiling weekly metrics on outcomes. The SDR will conduct thorough research on accounts, identify key stakeholders, generate interest, and develop contacts to build the Medisafe sales pipeline. Meeting quarterly and annual objectives for qualified lead generation is essential, as is delivering consistent messaging alongside the marketing and sales teams to identify the best target market segments. Maintaining active engagement with leads through informed and creative follow-ups is also a critical responsibility. Additionally, the SDR will prepare for and facilitate initial capability calls with prospects and sales executives, ensuring a smooth transition from lead generation to sales engagement.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, Business Degree a plus
  • Minimum 3 years of Sales Development experience required
  • Health/ pharma related experience preferred but not required
  • Experience with Salesforce is required
  • Ability to quickly and effectively engage potential customers using a variety of communication avenues
  • Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written, to internal and external stakeholders
  • Adept at internalizing new sales and marcom technologies and utilizing them to their full potential
  • Top-notch organizational skills required
