About the position

The Sales Development Representative I (Outbound) at Accusoft is responsible for driving lead qualification efforts by collaborating with the Marketing, Product, and Sales teams. This role focuses on generating and qualifying leads through various outreach methods, ensuring effective communication between prospects and internal resources, and contributing to the company's growth by expanding its customer base.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Generate prospecting lists of decision-makers in target accounts using compliant and accurate contact data.
  • Book outbound meetings through cold calls, emails, social outreach, and networking with ideal-fit customers.
  • Follow up and engage with prospects who have inquired about the company's product or service.
  • Deliver relevant marketing content to prospects.
  • Research prospects' coworkers to identify other stakeholders.
  • Follow up on existing contacts in HubSpot to identify new potential needs.
  • Use LinkedIn, CRM, sales enablement tools, and sales intelligence to improve processes.
  • Identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities for the company.
  • Contact and qualify potential customers.
  • Set appointments and follow up on leads.
  • Track progress towards meeting sales goals.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, competition, and industry developments.
  • Attend networking events and tradeshows to build relationships and generate leads.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities and results to management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Marketing or Business Administration with a Marketing concentration or related disciplines.
  • 1+ years in a sales development or related sales field or B2B sales environment preferred, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in a role that has helped develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Effective verbal communication and customer service skills.
  • Understanding of digital marketing and lead generation techniques.
  • Ability to collaborate and develop strategic plans.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Experience with enterprise CRM systems, preferably HubSpot or similar.
