About the position

The Sales Development Representative II (Inbound) is responsible for generating sales leads and qualifying prospects for Henry Schein One's business solutions and services. This role involves handling inbound sales inquiries, promoting the Business of Dentistry conference, and maintaining lead information in Salesforce. The position is primarily remote within the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Generate sales qualified leads from marketing inquiries for the Henry Schein One sales team (roughly 75% of job).
  • Cover inbound sales inquiries to HS One (roughly 25% of job).
  • Answer calls from existing and prospective Henry Schein One clients not using our business solutions and services.
  • Update and maintain leads and opportunities in Salesforce, including sales stage and next assigned task date, until turned over to a sales specialist/account executive.
  • Participate in special projects, such as event or lead registrations from partners, and perform other duties as required.
  • Meet company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior.

Requirements

  • Typically one year proven experience selling to new clients, or in other professional technology software sales role or Dental market expertise equivalent.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Phone experience and/or ability to work with Dental Customers/Prospects.
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
  • Self-starter and team player.
  • Driven to meet and surpass goals/targets.
  • Ability to handle high volumes of inbound calls.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to prioritize daily tasks.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Product Suite.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Past Customer Service experience.
  • Knowledge or interest in the Dental industry and HS One software portfolio.
  • Knowledge of CRM solutions (i.e., Salesforce, Siebel, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Software and Technology.
  • Past sales experience.
