About the position

The Sales Development Representative II (SDR2) at Xybix Systems is responsible for representing the company to customers and partners, supporting Territory Managers, and driving new business opportunities. This role involves gathering and qualifying leads, making cold calls, and assisting with marketing initiatives, all while contributing to the company's reputation for service and quality in ergonomic furniture manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and qualify cold leads at the initial sales cycle.
  • Gather customer lists from various sources and log them in Salesforce.
  • Research and call into territory to complete metro intelligence documents.
  • Make cold calls and create interest for sales reps in each vertical and territory.
  • Set up follow-up actions and calls for Territory Managers.
  • Create and launch marketing plans with the Digital Marketing Manager.
  • Track activity and ensure follow-up on tasks and projects.
  • Support tasks and critical dates for Territory Managers to keep projects on time.
  • Field emails or phone calls to clients and support TM pipeline data and tasks.
  • Ensure all calls, tasks, emails, and project processes are logged correctly.
  • Prioritize opportunities and tasks to determine which projects need addressing.
  • Initiate drip campaigns to appropriate projects and customers.
  • Assist Territory Managers with Design and Customer Service-related inquiries.
  • Create and update opportunities related to monitor, storage, and accessory additions.
  • Oversee clients in the absence of a Territory Manager.
  • Conduct site visits when necessary.
  • Attend tradeshows when necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or commensurate industry experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least 2 years of experience as an SDR, inside, or outside sales in comparable industries preferred.
  • Proven ability to plan and manage a sales account.
  • Experience utilizing CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, and developing metrics and dashboards.
  • Successful experience with a specific sales methodology and sales funnel management.
  • Proven skills as a sales professional or assisting them to achieve or exceed sales quotas year-over-year.
  • Proven and verifiable history of increasing revenues and margins to meet KPIs and company goals.
  • Marketing experience, including email or call campaigns to schedule meetings.
  • Experience with marketing communications and market segmentation.
