About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Levitate plays a crucial role in the organization by being the first point of contact for small business clients. This position focuses on outbound prospecting, identifying opportunities to enhance clients' outreach strategies, and booking demos for Senior Account Executives. The SDR is supported through hands-on training and has a clear path for promotion to an Account Executive role within 6-9 months.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting to small businesses across the U.S. with a target of 130 cold calls per day.
  • Book demos for Senior Account Executives, aiming to ramp up to 3 demos per day over time.
  • Engage in 1:1 coaching sessions with the manager to improve skills through call reviews and role-playing.
  • Confirm attendance of prospects for their scheduled demos.
  • Drive strategic lead generation through targeted cold-calling.
  • Maintain and update activities, opportunities, and account information in the CRM.

Requirements

  • Previous cold calling experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong desire to succeed and build a career in sales.
  • Ability to self-motivate and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to ask for help and openness to coaching.
  • Strong multitasking, organizational, and prioritization skills.
