About the position

The Sales Development Representative (Inbound SDR) at Posit plays a crucial role in engaging prospective customers and demonstrating innovative technologies in the Data Science field. This position is integral to the sales team, focusing on qualifying inbound leads, responding to product inquiries, and facilitating conversations between Account Executives and potential customers. The role offers the opportunity to work with a supportive team and contribute to impactful software that enhances data understanding and decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with prospective customers to share and demonstrate Posit's software solutions.
  • Qualify inbound leads and respond to product inquiries.
  • Run email campaigns to nurture leads and schedule conversations with Account Executives.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop best practices for lead generation.
  • Achieve and exceed sales activity goals and quotas.
  • Assist in training and onboarding new team members.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with customers effectively.
  • Familiarity with data science concepts and tools, particularly R and Python.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in using sales tools and CRM software.
