As a Sales Development Representative at Confluent, you will play a crucial role in identifying and qualifying sales opportunities for our dynamic sales team. Your responsibilities will include direct prospect engagement through a multi-threaded approach, which emphasizes the importance of calling, as well as leveraging email and LinkedIn for effective communication. You will conduct initial prospect discovery and qualification before seamlessly passing off leads to the sales team, ensuring a smooth transition and maximizing the potential for success. To support your development, you will participate in a structured sales training program that includes clear milestones and a defined career progression plan for strong performers. This program is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in your role and advance within the organization.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 0+ years experience; technical aptitude/curiosity.
  • Basic knowledge of SDR concepts, practices, procedures, and principles.
  • Passion for Sales and the desire to grow and excel.
