About the position

Paychex is seeking high-energy, driven professionals to join our Sales Development organization as Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). In this role, you will focus on targeted prospecting to create sales opportunities for our selling partners. You will consult with potential clients, leveraging your expertise in Paychex's products and services to help them thrive by utilizing the solutions that best meet their specific needs. This position is crucial in establishing the initial contact with prospects and setting the stage for successful sales engagements. As an SDR, your primary responsibility will be to generate appointments for sales representatives through daily outbound targeted telephone sales. You will build rapport with prospects by nurturing relationships and conducting engaging conversations that highlight the value of Paychex's offerings. Collaborating closely with selling representatives, you will strategically target accounts and identify potential opportunities for Paychex, ensuring that our sales efforts are aligned with market needs. In addition to prospecting, you will articulate the competitive advantages of Paychex by emphasizing our differentiators and demonstrating a deep understanding of our overall value proposition tied to our suite of products and services. Effective management of open opportunities is essential, and you will be responsible for maintaining data updates within our CRM (salesforce.com) to ensure that an effective pipeline is being nurtured. Responsibilities

  • Generates appointments for sales representatives through daily outbound targeted telephone sales.

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma - Required
  • Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
  • 1 year of experience in lead generation or a blend of sales experience and business coursework.

Benefits

  • Base pay of $40,000.00 annually + commission.
