About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Magellan Jets is a vital role focused on converting and following up on sales leads. This position is responsible for prospecting and qualifying leads to drive revenue growth, working closely with the Aviation Advisor Team to generate high-quality Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) and convert them into Sales Qualified Opportunities (SQOs). The SDR will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer and will be expected to maintain a high level of activity and engagement with potential clients.

Responsibilities

  • Follow up on inbound leads to qualify and unqualify marketing generated leads.
  • Nurture and work through existing database for new clients through outbound efforts, including calls, texts, emails, and social media outreach.
  • Collaborate with Aviation Advisors to qualify leads and ensure smooth handoff for further engagement and closing.
  • Track all prospecting activities in Salesforce, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records for all interactions.
  • Provide weekly reports on prospecting activities and pipeline health.
  • Execute timely and consistent follow-ups via email, texts, and phone calls based on the defined cadence to maximize conversion opportunities.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of prior experience in a sales or customer-facing role.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems preferred.
  • Strong communication skills—both verbal and written.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in aviation or luxury services is a plus.
