About the position

This internship is designed for students in their penultimate academic year pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related fields. The role involves supporting the sales organization at Google Public Sector, focusing on identifying, qualifying, and nurturing Google Cloud computing opportunities. Interns will gain insights into how Google’s solutions address digital transformation challenges for customers, while also participating in personal and professional development activities.

Responsibilities

  • Support pipeline development by conducting research and identifying potential opportunities.
  • Contribute to outbound activities in collaboration with Field Sales Representatives (FSR).
  • Assist in the development and execution of aimed campaigns, leveraging resources from Go-to-Market (GTM) teams.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within customer accounts.
  • Work with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and best practices across all campaigns.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or post-secondary training experience in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related fields.
  • Experience with business development, sales, or marketing.

Nice-to-haves

  • Currently attending a degree program in the US and available to work full time for 12-14 weeks outside of university term time.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, dashboards, and reporting.
  • Excellent people management and organizational skills.
