About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) position at Eliassen Group is an entry-level role designed for individuals looking to start a career in sales. The role begins with an 18-week training program that focuses on the fundamentals of recruiting and sales, providing participants with essential skills in communication, research, marketing, and technology. The program includes hands-on experience, shadowing opportunities, and interactions with leadership, ultimately leading to a pathway for advancement to an Account Executive role.

Responsibilities

  • Setting meetings with current and prospective clients for leaders or mentors to gain exposure to the industry.
  • Participating in an immersive training program that includes classroom instruction and cohort breakouts.
  • Utilizing internal AI and shadow sessions to learn about the sales process.
  • Engaging with consultants to understand the sourcing and recruiting process.
  • Building relationships with clients and developing connections throughout the program.

Requirements

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and a self-driven personality.
  • High energy and an aptitude for learning new sales practices and technology trends.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • High-level understanding of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Preference for candidates with a bachelor's degree.
