About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) position at Eliassen Group is designed for individuals looking to start a career in sales. The role begins with an 18-week training program that focuses on the fundamentals of recruiting and sales, providing a comprehensive foundation for future success in the field. Participants will engage in hands-on experiences, shadowing senior sellers, and learning essential skills such as communication, research, and negotiation. The program aims to prepare candidates for a successful transition to an Account Executive role within 18 months, with opportunities for significant earnings through a base salary and uncapped commission.

Responsibilities

  • Setting meetings with current and prospective clients for leaders or mentors to gain exposure to the industry.
  • Shadowing experienced sellers to learn about the sales process and client interactions.
  • Building connections and developing relationships throughout the training program.

Requirements

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and a self-driven personality.
  • High energy and an aptitude for learning new sales practices and technology trends.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • High-level understanding of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
