About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Golfballs.com plays a crucial role in driving business-to-business sales initiatives within the golf customization industry. This position focuses on engaging potential clients, particularly in custom logo and promotional merchandise sales, and is ideal for proactive individuals who excel in fast-paced environments and are motivated by metrics and relationship building.

Responsibilities

  • Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and sales openings.
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for new business prospects, determining the best next steps.
  • Drive top-of-the-funnel lead generation for Account Executives.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to drive revenue and pipeline growth, including setting qualified connections for Account Executives.
  • Meet sales revenue and referral revenue targets.
  • Multitask across phone, email, chat, and CRM platforms for effective prospect engagement.
  • Update and manage all sales activities, opportunities, and account information in CRM systems.
  • Consistently achieve monthly quota of qualified opportunities.
  • Stay up to date on new products within the company and golf industry to facilitate informed conversations and sales efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Demonstrated drive for achievement while contributing to organizational success.
  • In-depth knowledge of golf, golf products and brand awareness.
  • Skilled in conducting outreach activities like cold calling and emailing.
  • Proficient in time management and organization.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
