About the position

The Sales Development and Marketing Assistant role at Language Tampa is a part-time position focused on driving sales and managing marketing efforts to expand the company's reach in providing tailored Spanish training programs. The ideal candidate will be proactive, sales-oriented, and possess experience in marketing and business development, contributing to client relationship management and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and contact potential clients and organizations via email, phone, and in-person networking.
  • Present Spanish Consultants' services as a valuable tool for professional and organizational growth.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to convert leads into clients.
  • Maintain a pipeline of prospective clients and track sales performance.
  • Create and manage engaging content for social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook).
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote Spanish Consultants' services.
  • Design marketing materials (flyers, brochures, posts) using Canva or similar tools.
  • Maintain consistent branding across all platforms.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with prospective and current clients.
  • Track and follow up on leads to ensure conversion.
  • Provide detailed updates on client engagement and marketing performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, marketing, or business development, with a focus on results.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience with social media management and tools like Canva.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and passionate about professional growth and sales.
  • Availability to attend local events in Tampa as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
  • Experience in B2B sales.
