About the position

As a Mid-Market/Enterprise Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Vagaro, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth by identifying and qualifying potential enterprise-level clients. Your primary responsibility will be to generate and nurture leads, working closely with the enterprise sales team to develop a robust pipeline of opportunities. Through strategic outreach and effective communication, you will engage with key decision-makers, educate them about Vagaro's solutions, and schedule qualified appointments for the sales representatives.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough research to identify and qualify potential enterprise-level clients in the salon, spa, and fitness industry.
  • Utilize various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking, to generate leads and initiate meaningful conversations with prospects.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Vagaro's products, services, and value proposition to effectively articulate them to potential clients.
  • Conduct high-volume outreach to engage decision-makers, identify pain points, and assess their needs and business challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand target accounts, coordinate outreach efforts, and strategize on the best approach for conversion.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lead interactions and progress in Salesforce.
  • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria, ensuring a strong fit with Vagaro's target customer profile.
  • Schedule appointments and product demonstrations for the Account Executives, ensuring a smooth transition from lead generation to sales closure.
  • Continuously stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to enhance prospecting strategies and knowledge of the target market.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of sales processes, messaging, and lead generation tactics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) in a highly transactional sales cycle.
  • Previous experience at a SaaS company is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated success in prospecting, lead generation, and appointment setting, meeting, or exceeding targets.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a proactive mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in using Salesforce and other sales productivity tools such as Outreach, Salesloft or Zoominfo.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment.
