About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Mirantis plays a crucial role in driving the company's growth by aggressively prospecting and developing the sales pipeline. This position serves as the first point of contact for prospective customers, making it essential for creating a positive first impression of Mirantis. The SDR will work closely with Account Executives to schedule meetings and product demos, while also managing the outbound leads process to maximize conversion rates. The role requires a strong understanding of Mirantis's offerings and the ability to communicate their value effectively to potential clients.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new sales leads through outbound phone and email prospecting in close alignment with the sales team
  • Schedule meetings and product demos for the Account Executives
  • Manage outbound leads process to maximize conversion and pipeline development
  • Understand Mirantis's offerings and competitive positioning to effectively communicate them to the needs of a prospect
  • Accurately enter, update, and maintain daily activity and prospect information in Salesforce.com
  • Achieve and exceed monthly quotas and objectives

Requirements

  • Experience in technology solutions, cloud, and SaaS - preferred
  • 1-2 years of prior sales development, business development, prospecting or sourcing experience
  • Ability to articulate technical capabilities in terms of business value
  • A strong desire to learn a comprehensive software sales process
  • Strong sense of urgency and motivation to meet and exceed aggressive goals
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with tools such as SFDC, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, 6sense etc. preferred but not required
  • Hard-working, competitive, and professional demeanor
  • Comfortable taking direction and feedback
