In this role, you will be responsible for developing new opportunities for AVEVA Sales. This will involve working on inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns as well as conducting your own research and outbound prospecting. You will collaborate closely with local marketing, sales, technical sales, and other key stakeholders to generate new business and support the closing of deals within your designated region. The position requires intermediate knowledge of solutions and services, along with the ability to conduct research, plan, and produce simple business presentations for both internal and external audiences. You will utilize various communication channels, including social media, email, and phone, to deliver qualified leads for Sales Representatives and Account Managers. Maintaining and developing leads in accordance with AVEVA's lead management and qualification process is essential, as is keeping activity records within AVEVA's CRM solution. Additionally, you will support marketing activities such as campaigns, events, and seminars/webinars as appropriate. Some travel to support Sales Representatives to clients, partners, prospects, and AVEVA offices will be a normal requirement of successfully executing this role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new opportunities for AVEVA Sales through inbound leads and outbound prospecting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or professional qualification in related sales or engineering positions is highly desirable.
  • 1+ years of sales experience or industry relevant experience preferred.
  • Highly motivated, results-oriented with a positive and determined approach to researching and developing new Sales Qualified Opportunities.
  • Passionate team player and a self-starter with a hunter mentality.
  • Quick to adopt new skills and motivated for career development.
  • Commercial and analytical skills to identify market trends and opportunities.
  • Confident communicator via phone and e-mail with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong listening skills to determine the best solutions for challenges voiced by prospects.
