About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) role at Data Theorem is designed for highly motivated individuals who will drive targeted outreach campaigns to engage security and DevOps leaders. The SDR will respond to inbound inquiries, generate meetings for account teams, and maintain active engagement with leads to increase interest in Data Theorem's offerings. Responsibilities

  • Engage with potential customers who express interest via the website, LinkedIn, and in-product.
  • Execute cold outreach campaigns targeting leaders in the security and DevOps space.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to secure meetings and assist in closing deals.

Requirements

  • Ambitious, driven, and resilient in the face of rejection.
  • Strong desire to learn about security and improve in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to read emotional cues and understand customer needs during conversations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • College degree strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience in Sales, Marketing, and Security is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in consultative sales and client management.
  • Familiarity with mobile app, web app, and API security.
