The representative will sell display ideas, introduce new products, and manage placements and resets of products in various locations, including cold boxes and back bars. Maintaining product levels in accounts is essential, which involves taking inventory and restocking shelves where legally permissible. The representative will also ensure maximum brand visibility by utilizing effective point-of-sale materials and will be responsible for obtaining payments from accounts where legally allowed. Additionally, the representative will strategize and preplan to achieve sales and merchandising objectives by understanding the company's pricing and product programming information on a monthly basis. This includes maintaining accurate historical account purchase information and ensuring compliance with national account requirements. The role also involves managing customer account receivables, processing credits and returns in a timely manner, and communicating with accounts regarding aged receivables. The representative will stay informed about company and supplier activities by actively participating in weekly sales meetings, which is vital for achieving performance goals set by management.
