About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Broughton Partners plays a crucial role in driving growth by identifying and engaging potential customers. This on-site position requires a strong understanding of the sales process, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with prospects. The SDR will be responsible for generating leads, nurturing relationships, and setting up sales closers for success, ultimately contributing to the company's revenue growth and customer acquisition efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the company's products and services using comprehensive knowledge and consumer research.
  • Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding potential new sales opportunities.
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives in next steps.
  • Identify best practices for refining the company's lead-generation playbook.
  • Utilize Salesforce, SalesLoft, cold calls, and email to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Identify the needs of prospects and suggest appropriate products or services.
  • Set up meetings or calls between prospective customers and sales executives.
  • Report to the sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, communications, or related field required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2 years preferred experience in sales, account management, or customer service.
  • Experience as a sales development representative with a track record of achieving sales quotas.
  • Strong communication skills via phone and email.
  • Proven, creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM software.

  • Bilingual skills to communicate with a diverse customer base.
  • Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization.
