About the position

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Pacific OneSource, Inc., you will be instrumental in expanding the company's reach within the K-12 education sector. This role involves being the first point of contact for potential clients, identifying their needs, and introducing them to innovative solutions. Responsibilities

• Identify and research potential leads within the K-12 education sector, focusing on public districts, charter schools, and individual schools.
• Conduct cold calls, emails, and social media outreach to introduce STS Education's offerings and set up meetings with potential clients.
• Assess and qualify leads based on their needs, budget, and decision-making process.
• Maintain an organized pipeline of prospects, ensuring timely follow-up and continuous engagement.
• Work closely with the Account Executive team to hand off qualified leads and support the sales process.
• Meet and exceed weekly and monthly goals for lead generation, outreach, and appointments set.
• Gather and share insights from outreach to help refine messaging, product offerings, and overall strategy.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant inside sales prospecting experience
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Nice-to-haves

• College degree preferred, but not required
• Understanding of K-12 school districts and key personnel preferred
• Familiarity with K-12 educational technology products preferred
