About the position

The Sales Development Representative at FRONTSTEPS plays a crucial role in the sales cycle by identifying and nurturing leads that can potentially become clients. This position focuses on generating qualified meetings for the Account Executive team, utilizing various outreach methods to build a robust sales pipeline. The role emphasizes a collaborative approach within the sales team and requires a strong understanding of the FRONTSTEPS platform.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the unique FRONTSTEPS platform technically.
  • Use calling, emailing, and social outreach to generate qualified meetings for the Account Executive team.
  • Develop a pipeline of quality business meetings that result in new opportunities for the assigned Sales territory team member.
  • Maintain accurate records of all lead activity using Salesforce.
  • Demonstrate a passion for winning and problem-solving technologies.
  • Build rapport with territory-based sales representatives.
  • Be coachable and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • 0 - 2 years of experience working with a SaaS company.
  • Coachable and willing to try new sales strategies.
  • Desire to build a career in SaaS sales.
  • Professional demeanor via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Good listening skills to identify the prospect's needs.
  • Knowledge of lead generation is a plus.
