About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) role at Rippling is designed for talented and ambitious individuals who are eager to manage high-velocity top-of-funnel sales qualification while navigating a strategic sales process. This position involves prospecting and qualifying new customers for Rippling's unified HR and IT platform, which automates various employee management tasks. The SDR will play a crucial role in shaping processes and building pipelines to support Account Executives, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and a winning attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Become a product expert across the entire platform and understand the competitor landscape.
  • Manage outbound leads using specific qualifying criteria.
  • Engage in outbound communication with strategic and thoughtful messaging to upmarket prospects.
  • Partner with marketing to manage outbound campaigns to increase lead volume.
  • Prospect into new accounts using proven sales methodology.
  • Maintain and update accurate records in the CRM.

Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to collaborate with others and work cross-functionally among different teams at Rippling
  • Desire to join a competitive team-based environment
  • Sales experience preferred but not required.
