About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is an entry-level position focused on generating profitable revenue through new business development and upselling to existing clients in the Missouri and Kansas territories. The role emphasizes a proactive sales approach, utilizing the Challenger selling method to manage complex sales opportunities and build strong relationships with clients in various industries, particularly automotive and construction.

Responsibilities

  • Generate profitable revenue through new business and upselling to existing clients.
  • Manage a pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Develop informational presentations and lead in-store dealership meetings.
  • Use the Challenger based selling approach to close complex sales opportunities.
  • Leverage sales tools to gain a competitive edge.
  • Partner with client stakeholders to build consensus for the company's services.
  • Independently strategize for solving deal-level challenges.
  • Develop customer relationships with new and existing dealers and clients.
  • Penetrate and build relationships in major corporate offices of dealer groups.
  • Develop strategies to gain market share in high-value target verticals.
  • Strengthen relationships with Customer Experience Managers to ensure unparalleled service.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas.
  • Participate in meetings with the sales organization.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in SaaS or related industries.
  • Successful record selling a service with a required service agreement.
  • Understanding and demonstration of Challenger selling skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to maintain control in the sales process from prospect to close.
  • Salesforce CRM experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience selling into automotive, marine, RV, or powersports industries.
