About the position

Corpay is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) for its Paymerang division in Richmond, VA. The SDR will play a crucial role in the sales outreach process by identifying and creating new qualified opportunities for outside sales Account Executives. This position requires effective communication skills, persistence, and a strong understanding of financial technology to articulate Corpay's value proposition to potential clients.

Responsibilities

  • Identify prospect accounts and critical decision makers for outreach.
  • Manage direct outreach to build interest in Corpay solutions.
  • Utilize lead generation tools to create targeted lists of contacts.
  • Align sales development processes with email, phone, and social selling best practices.
  • Educate and demonstrate the importance of modernization and automation in Accounts Payable processes.
  • Execute appointment setting for outside sales Account Executive's demos, coordinating meeting details.
  • Exceed quotas for outreach activity and qualified meetings held.

Requirements

  • High degree of persistence and self-confidence.
  • Comfort with cold calling and outreach.
  • Strong communication skills to handle objections and articulate solutions.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize opportunities.
  • Understanding of accounting operations or financial technology products.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Software as a Service (SaaS).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and customer service.
