The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Dynatrace plays a crucial role in identifying and qualifying sales opportunities for our Application Performance Management (APM) software. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about technology and have a strong desire to contribute to the sales process. The SDR will work closely with field sales representatives and the marketing team to generate demand and qualify leads effectively. This role requires a proactive approach to prospecting and a deep understanding of the accounts being targeted. As an SDR, you will be responsible for profiling assigned accounts and driving outbound prospecting efforts to generate new business. This includes making calls to senior IT management at Fortune 1000 companies, such as Chief Technology Officers (CTOs), Chief Information Officers (CIOs), and Directors of IT Operations. You will conduct thorough research on accounts using various tools, including Google, LinkedIn, and Jigsaw, to develop a comprehensive understanding of their business issues and relevant information. In addition to lead qualification, the SDR will execute database and telemarketing programs aimed at increasing attendance at events and seminars, as well as creating awareness for current product promotions. Educating prospects about Dynatrace's enterprise solutions is a key aspect of this role, and you will utilize Salesforce.com to track your activities and progress. Regular attendance at weekly territory forecast meetings is expected, where you will update the team on your identified activities and work towards meeting defined metrics goals. Your input will also be valuable to the marketing team, providing feedback on the quality of leads generated from marketing programs.
