About the position

The Sales Development Representative at Emarsys is responsible for generating and nurturing a pipeline of qualified sales opportunities. This role involves engaging with potential clients, building relationships, and utilizing Salesforce.com for accurate forecasting and reporting. The position is remote, allowing flexibility for candidates across the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and engage with potential new clients
  • Build relationships with prospects via email and phone to generate meetings and build a pipeline
  • Engage with prospects over the phone using a consultative approach to discuss their business issues and generate interest in Emarsys
  • Utilize Salesforce.com for timely and accurate forecasting and reporting of activity
  • Follow established sales processes

Requirements

  • Eager to learn and succeed in a high-earning software sales environment
  • High level of energy with a positive phone demeanor
  • Experience in a sales or service environment
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
  • Recent experience in software technology, marketing automation, eBusiness, or CRM software is a plus
  • Technical ability to understand overall presentations and competitive differentiation
  • Strong desire to keep up-to-date on technology trends, developments, and best practices
