About the position

The Sales Development Representative for Rentals at Zillow is responsible for seeking out new business opportunities in the Multifamily Rentals industry. This role emphasizes a proactive approach to lead generation through cold calling and email campaigns, aiming to drive appointments for Sales Executives and contribute to top-line revenue. The position requires strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit, as well as a commitment to achieving sales metrics and fostering positive customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Drive appointments for top-line revenue by setting acquisition appointments for Sales Executives
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails (100+ dials/day)
  • Localize knowledge of trends, market conditions, and advertising tendencies based on market
  • Proactively prospect new business opportunities in the market

Requirements

  • 6+ months of appointment setting and/or inside sales experience
  • Possess high energy and a strong desire to achieve top results with a charismatic, positive 'can-do' attitude via the phone and in person
  • High ethical values and integrity
  • Ability to prioritize and apply effective time management
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications, as well as the Google suite of tools
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Salesforce.com or other CRM experience preferred
