About the position

AkkenCloud is seeking motivated and dynamic Sales Development Representatives to join our inside sales team. This role is pivotal in driving our growth as we provide an All-in-One SaaS Platform to some of the fastest-growing staffing and recruiting companies across the U.S. and Canada. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be at the forefront of our sales efforts, engaging with potential clients and helping them understand the value of our solutions. This position is ideal for achievement-oriented professionals and recent college graduates looking to establish and grow a successful sales career in a supportive and energetic environment. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting high-volume prospecting calls to generate and qualify B2B sales leads. You will cultivate executive-level, strategic relationships and guide them through our sales cycle. Your ability to orchestrate needs assessment calls with specific inbound and outbound prospects will be crucial in identifying opportunities and gathering information that will be handed off to our sales team. Additionally, you will schedule online demonstrations and meetings with qualified prospects, ensuring that they receive the necessary information to make informed decisions about our services. Responsibilities

  • Working in a pre-sales/sales capacity
  • Conducting high volume prospecting calls to generate and qualify B2B sales leads
  • Cultivating executive-level, strategic relationships and moving them through our sales cycle
  • Orchestrating needs assessment calls with specific inbound and outbound prospects
  • Scheduling online demonstrations and meetings with qualified prospects
  • Performing opportunity identification, information gathering, and the hand-off to our sales team

Requirements

  • Self-motivated, coachable, team player with a desire to win
  • Service-oriented sales approach and desire to help customers achieve their objectives
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of SaaS, Cloud-based software, CRM, ERP, and/or Staffing/Recruiting Software is a plus
  • Experience with recruiting, consulting, HR, IT professional services, or staffing/recruiting industry also a plus
  • 6 months - 2 years experience prospecting customers over the phone
  • A desire for professional and personal growth, lots of energy and a good sense of humor
