About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at BarTrack will play a crucial role in supporting the CEO, Executives, and Senior Leadership by generating new business opportunities for the company. This position is designed for individuals who are proactive and possess a strong ability to identify, contact, and qualify potential customers. The SDR will represent the company's innovative products and services, utilizing comprehensive knowledge and consumer research to effectively communicate how BarTrack's solutions can meet customer needs. In this role, the SDR will conduct outbound prospecting activities to generate new leads through various channels, including calls, emails, and social media. The candidate will be responsible for researching and identifying potential clients, understanding their business needs and pain points, and engaging with prospects to qualify them based on predefined criteria. The SDR will assess the potential for business opportunities and schedule meetings for the Sales team, ensuring a smooth transition of qualified leads. The position requires effective communication of the company's value proposition to prospects, building and maintaining relationships through ongoing communication, and managing all lead information in the CRM system. The SDR will collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to align strategies and provide feedback to enhance marketing campaigns. Meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation and qualification is a key expectation of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities to generate new leads through calls, emails, and social media.
  • Research and identify potential clients, understanding their business needs and pain points.
  • Engage with prospects to qualify them based on predefined criteria.
  • Assess the potential for business opportunities and schedule meetings for the Sales team.
  • Effectively communicate our value proposition to prospects.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential clients through ongoing communication.
  • Record and manage all lead information and interactions in the CRM system.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date information on leads, opportunities, and activities.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to align strategies and ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads.
  • Provide feedback to enhance marketing campaigns and improve lead generation.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation and qualification.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Development Representative or in a similar role.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Solid understanding of HubSpot and/or other sales and forecasting software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Skill in crafting and delivering presentations and briefings.
  • Ability to influence and motivate others.
  • Analytical mindset to gather, analyze, and interpret data for decision-making.
  • Proven project management skills to oversee and manage initiatives from conception to completion.
