About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Commure + Athelas plays a crucial role in driving new business through relationship-based selling. This position focuses on sourcing new opportunities, managing prospect objections, and aligning the company's innovative healthcare solutions with the needs of potential clients. The SDR will work in a hybrid capacity, contributing to a mission-driven team dedicated to transforming healthcare through technology.

Responsibilities

  • Successfully source new business through relationship-based selling
  • Make cold calls and prospecting without fear
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly opportunity creation quotas
  • Align Commure + Athelas solutions with prospect business objectives/needs
  • Manage and overcome prospect objections effectively
  • Collaborate with the team to drive new business
  • Become an expert in the healthcare space
  • Learn sales skills to prepare for a future role as an Account Executive

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of SDR or Sales experience, preferably in SaaS
  • 4-year degree preferred in Business or related field
  • Demonstrated natural leadership ability
  • Tenacious hunger to win business and move deals through the sales process
  • Experience and success in a sales role, preferably software sales
  • Familiarity with quota and commission compensation structure
  • Ability to confidently speak with prospects of all levels (including CEO, VP, MD, RN, FNP)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with minimal direction
  • Self-driven, motivated, and results-oriented
  • Enthusiastic teammate and team player mindset
