About the position

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) on the BigRep America team, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's new business growth. Your primary mission will be to proactively identify, engage, and qualify potential customers through various outbound sales and marketing campaigns. This position is instrumental in expanding our customer base and contributing to the overall success of our business development team in North America. You will be at the forefront of our efforts to bring innovative large-format additive manufacturing solutions to a diverse range of industries, including automotive and entertainment. In this role, you will be responsible for uncovering and engaging with high-potential customers, generating qualified leads and opportunities for BigRep's products. You will skillfully assess and qualify leads through phone, email, and online interactions, understanding their unique needs and determining their fit for our offerings. Tailoring compelling product presentations that resonate with prospects will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you highlight the value that BigRep brings to their specific challenges. You will also manage the sales pipeline efficiently, moving qualified leads through the sales funnel and connecting them with the appropriate sales channels, such as scheduling meetings and demos. Monitoring your progress toward sales targets will be essential, as you will use data to refine your approach and optimize lead generation strategies. Collaboration with Channel Sales and Regional Marketing will be necessary to develop effective strategies for achieving sales goals. Mastery of CRM software will be crucial for managing leads, tracking interactions, and maintaining a well-organized pipeline of potential customers. Staying informed about market trends, competitor activity, and the latest developments in the additive manufacturing industry will help you provide insightful reports on your sales activities and results, showcasing your contribution to the team's overall success.

Responsibilities

  • Uncover and engage with high-potential customers, generating qualified leads and opportunities for BigRep's large-format additive manufacturing solutions.
  • Skillfully assess and qualify leads through phone, email, and online interactions, understanding their unique needs and determining their fit for our products.
  • Tailor compelling product presentations that resonate with prospects, highlighting the value BigRep brings to their specific challenges.
  • Efficiently move qualified leads through the sales funnel, seamlessly connecting them with the appropriate sales channel (e.g., scheduling meetings, demos).
  • Monitor your progress toward sales targets, using data to refine your approach and optimize lead generation strategies.
  • Work closely with Channel Sales and Regional Marketing to develop effective strategies for achieving sales goals.
  • Leverage CRM software to manage leads, track interactions, and maintain a well-organized pipeline of potential customers.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by keeping abreast of market trends, competitor activity, and the latest developments in the additive manufacturing industry.
  • Provide insightful reports on your sales activities and results, showcasing your contribution to the team's overall success.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in B2B sales, inside sales, or customer service, ideally within the technology or manufacturing sectors.
  • Proficiency with CRM Software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), ZoomInfo or similar lead generation tools, as well as LinkedIn Sales Navigator for professional outreach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with prospects and deliver persuasive solution presentations.
  • A solid understanding of sales techniques, strategies, and best practices for building strong customer relationships.
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities to juggle multiple leads and priorities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment, while demonstrating flexibility and willingness to adapt as the market and company evolve.
  • A passion for continuous learning and a drive to excel in the sales field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior exposure to additive manufacturing or 3D printing is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
