About the position

We are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team and focus on outreach to growers. In this role, you will be responsible for initiating and managing the early stages of the sales process, with an emphasis on cold calling and relationship building.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound cold calls to growers and agricultural businesses.
  • Develop and manage a structured call cadence to nurture leads.
  • Qualify prospects based on predefined criteria to identify potential business opportunities.
  • Schedule and book meetings with qualified leads for the sales team.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and updates in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to refine messaging and strategies.
  • Achieve or exceed weekly and monthly targets for meetings held.
  • Earn bonuses based on the number of meetings successfully scheduled and held.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and maintain a consistent outreach cadence.
  • Experience in cold calling or a similar outbound sales role.
  • Knowledge of the agriculture industry is a plus but not required.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
