About the position

Applied Innovation is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to play a crucial role in generating new qualified sales opportunities. This position involves making phone calls to cold companies—those with which we have had no prior activity or interest—as well as cross-selling to current clients. The SDR will be responsible for passing these qualified opportunities to our sales team for closure. This is a full-time position with a standard work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, and does not require any travel. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and capable of managing their own workload effectively, ensuring that all prospecting goals and targets are met on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. The SDR will also be tasked with updating and managing CRM data to ensure accuracy, which is essential for driving and increasing the effectiveness of our sales efforts. This role is perfect for someone looking to start their career in sales and grow within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve all prospecting goals and targets - monthly, quarterly, yearly including qualification phone calls and qualified lead generation.
  • Generate new qualified sales opportunities from cold companies and current client cross selling.
  • Update and manage CRM data for accuracy and to drive and increase sales effort effectiveness with reliable and meaningful data.
  • Become a high capacity, self-managed SDR.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate
  • College Graduate preferred
  • Cold calling and phone experience preferred
