About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a crucial role in the sales team at AAPC, responsible for generating new business opportunities and establishing strong relationships with potential clients in the healthcare sector. This hybrid/remote position requires a motivated individual with a passion for sales, who will work closely with sales and marketing teams to drive growth and achieve sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets by consistently meeting and striving to surpass minimum sales performance standards and quotas.
  • Establish trusted advisor relationships with clients using industry-specific terminology and best practices.
  • Develop and manage a robust pipeline of potential clients to ensure steady progress towards sales objectives.
  • Engage in responsive listening to provide tailored responses to customer needs and facilitate meaningful discovery conversations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by tailoring solutions to meet the unique needs of each customer, ensuring satisfaction and long-term relationships.
  • Expand product knowledge by quickly acquiring and continuously updating knowledge of the healthcare industry and product offerings.

Requirements

  • Proficient in using Salesforce.com or other CRM systems.
  • Previous experience in outbound sales or cold-calling with a proven track record of self-sourcing opportunities.
  • Strong communication skills, both phone and email presentation.
  • Dynamic and resilient individual with a proven track record in a goal-driven environment.
  • Empathy and motivation to help others succeed.
  • Collaborative team player who actively shares sales tactics and is eager to learn from others.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in computers and quick to learn new software programs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience prospecting with LinkedIn, Outreach, and ZoomInfo is a plus.
  • Coachability and openness to continuous coaching and development.
