About the position

Siteline is seeking a motivated individual to join our revenue organization as a Sales Development Representative (SDR). This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth for our SaaS startup focused on modernizing finance in the construction industry. As an SDR, you will engage with trade contractors, qualify leads, and contribute to demand generation efforts, all while building foundational sales and marketing skills for your future career.

Responsibilities

  • Follow up on marketing-generated leads to convert them into qualified opportunities.
  • Perform thorough discovery to learn about the businesses of each prospect and their billing challenges.
  • Manage all inbound leads until they are sales qualified.
  • Work directly with marketing on demand generation campaigns.

Requirements

  • Experience in a prior SDR, BDR, or lead generation role is highly preferred, but not required.
  • Commercial construction experience is a plus, with familiarity in the industry language.
  • Strong phone communication skills with the ability to listen and understand prospect challenges.
  • Highly motivated, results-driven, competitive, resilient, and fearless.
  • Organized with strong time management skills.
  • Excellent customer orientation and communication skills, including empathy and integrity.
  • Collaborative team player with an optimistic demeanor.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working hands-on in construction or selling into the construction industry.
