About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) for the Marine Division at Storable is responsible for expanding the customer base by engaging with marina operators. This role involves identifying customer needs, generating leads, and supporting account executives with valuable insights to enhance sales efforts. The SDR will utilize Salesforce for tracking interactions and will be expected to make a high volume of outbound calls to both existing and potential clients, aiming to create new sales opportunities and cross-sell to current customers.

Responsibilities

  • Regularly interact with marina operators using Salesforce for tracking and reporting.
  • Make 80+ outbound calls a day to generate leads and opportunities.
  • Generate 2-3 outbound SQLs per day and manage the sales pipeline.
  • Conduct follow-ups with potential clients and maintain detailed notes on interactions.
  • Test new approaches to sales and lead generation.
  • Call current customers to identify cross-sell opportunities.
  • Work on multiple outbound call campaigns from the marketing team.
  • Design and document various value propositions for different customer segments.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in high-volume cold calling, achieving or exceeding a target of 80+ calls per day.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce or comparable CRM, Zendesk, Google Apps, and Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional communication skills via phone, email, and text.
  • Strong time-management skills and motivation to improve performance in a remote environment.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and develop best practices.
