About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at parcelLab is responsible for creating new qualified sales opportunities by identifying and reaching out to key individuals within target companies. This role involves building rapport with potential customers, sharing insights about parcelLab's products, and qualifying opportunities before passing them to Account Executives. The SDR will conduct outreach through various channels, including email, phone, and social media, while meeting monthly targets and supporting the US Sales Lead in driving new account acquisitions.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and market parcelLab's solutions to target customers through persistent outreach.
  • Meet or exceed monthly meeting and new opportunity targets.
  • Conduct initial discovery and provide relevant information to the Sales team.
  • Research and evaluate additional leads/prospects through web research.
  • Nurture prospects to ensure parcelLab remains top of mind.
  • Work with the US Sales Lead to grow sales in the US or specific verticals.
  • Support the US Sales Lead in acquiring new accounts in the region.
  • Represent parcelLab at marketing events.
  • Track all outreach and correspondence in Salesforce.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years' experience in a business development-focused role, selling a B2B SaaS solution.
  • Strong listening skills with the ability to build rapport and influence others.
  • Proven track record of articulating a product's selling points via phone, email, or social media.
  • Demonstrated ability to explain complex and technical issues clearly.
  • Prior experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM tool.
  • Well-organized with excellent time-management skills.
  • Positive attitude and ability to deal with rejection.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously.

Nice-to-haves

  • Completed Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong technical aptitude.
  • Knowledge of the Retail/Ecommerce sector.
  • Experience working in MarTech.
  • Prior experience in a startup/scale-up environment.
