About the position

DISH is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our award-winning Inside Sales & Retention team in Phoenix. This position is pivotal in influencing existing and future customer decision-making by effectively selling the value of DISH's products and services through a consultative approach. The SDR role is focused entirely on inbound sales, meaning you will engage with new and existing customers who are reaching out to us, eliminating the need for cold calling. This unique opportunity allows you to develop your sales skills in a supportive environment where you can grow a long-term career at a company generating over $17 billion in revenue. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for successfully selling DISH and Boost products and services, assessing each customer's needs, and offering the best value tailored to them. You will demonstrate resilience in overcoming challenges while maintaining focus on larger sales goals. Time management is crucial, as you will be expected to learn new methods and advance as a sales contributor. Building and maintaining strong customer relationships is essential, as is documenting customer information accurately to ensure excellent service and satisfaction. DISH provides comprehensive training and development tools to ensure your success in this role. You will have the opportunity to earn uncapped commissions based on your performance, with a target compensation of $64,000 per year, and top performers can earn significantly more. The role also offers the potential for promotion within your first year, along with a corresponding increase in title and pay.

Responsibilities

  • Successfully sell DISH and Boost products and services to new and existing customers
  • Assess each customer's needs and offer the best value
  • Demonstrate resilience to bounce back from challenges and maintain focus on larger goals
  • Effectively manage time and be open to learning new methods
  • Build and maintain customer relationships
  • Document customer information including demographic and billing details
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • High school diploma; college graduates preferred
  • Ability to work full-time, on-site in one of our Direct Sales facilities
  • Open availability to work provided schedules
  • Possess a smartphone or other device with an active network connection
