About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) position at DISH, an EchoStar Company, is a dynamic role focused on selling Boost Infinite wireless products and services. This position is part of the award-winning Inside Sales & Retention team, which plays a crucial role in influencing customer decision-making through a consultative sales approach. The SDR will engage with both new and existing customers, handling 100% inbound calls, which eliminates the need for cold calling. This role is designed for individuals who are eager to develop their sales skills and grow within a company that generates over $17 billion in revenue. In this position, the SDR will be responsible for assessing customer needs and presenting compelling offers that highlight the value of DISH's products and services. The role requires resilience and the ability to bounce back from challenges while maintaining focus on larger sales goals. The SDR will also be tasked with building and maintaining strong customer relationships, documenting customer information, and providing excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction. DISH provides comprehensive training and development opportunities to help SDRs succeed in their roles. The compensation structure includes a base pay of $15.75 per hour, with uncapped commission potential, allowing top performers to earn significantly more. Responsibilities

  • Successfully sell Boost Infinite products and services to new and existing customers using the ability to present compelling offers and influence customer decision-making
  • Assess each customer's needs and offer the best value
  • Demonstrate the ability and resilience to bounce back from challenges and maintain focus on larger goals
  • Effectively manage time, open to learning new methods and looking to advance as a sales contributor
  • Build and maintain customer relationships
  • Document customer information including demographic, billing, etc.
  • Provide excellent customer service, listen to the customer and ensure their satisfaction

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • High school diploma; college graduates preferred
  • Pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test
  • Must be able to work full-time, on-site in one of our Direct Sales facilities
  • Must have open availability to work provided schedules
  • Have a smartphone or other device with an active network connection
