About the position

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team in Seattle, WA. In this role, you will be responsible for making outbound calls to potential clients who have shown interest in our products or services. Your primary objective will be to qualify these prospective customers by asking targeted questions about their business strategies and needs. By leveraging the information gathered during these conversations, you will align our product offerings with the clients' requirements, ultimately driving sales and fostering business relationships. As an SDR, you will spend approximately 80% of your time on the phone, actively prospecting new clients. This position offers hands-on training focused on strategic selling techniques and emphasizes the importance of researching targeted accounts. It is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain in-depth experience in a rapidly growing company and to develop their sales skills in a supportive environment. You will be expected to share information about our company, ask insightful questions regarding the prospects' business intentions, and discern their propensity to buy. Additionally, you will be responsible for forwarding qualified leads to the Partnership team for further pursuit and scheduling appointments between prospects and the Partnership team. Accurate record-keeping of prospect information in our CRM database, Hubspot, is also a key responsibility of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to prospects who have expressed interest in learning more about Clients.
  • Make outbound calls to prospects who have been referred to Clients and/or have provided a signal of interest or potential need for our solution.
  • Share information about Clients and ask questions about the prospect's business intentions.
  • Discern propensity to buy and forward good potential leads to the Partnership team to pursue.
  • Schedule appointments between prospects and Partnership team.
  • Record prospect information in CRM database, Hubspot.

Requirements

  • A university degree or relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Prior experience working in sales.
  • A driven, enthusiastic and hard-working nature.
  • The ability to form strong business relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Customer service experience (2 years preferred).
