About the position

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Michael Page, you will play a crucial role in driving new business opportunities and lead generation. This position offers a dynamic and challenging environment where you will develop your interpersonal and commercial skills, contributing to both personal and professional growth. You will manage the entire sales process from candidate sourcing to closing deals, while also mentoring entry-level sales consultants.

Responsibilities

  • Hunt for new business opportunities and generate leads within the target market and territory.
  • Manage the process from interview through offer stage and close of sale.
  • Maintain a portfolio of candidates and clients, both existing and new.
  • Search, source, and screen potential candidates using various online resources.
  • Build partnerships with clients to help their business grow by delivering effective solutions for attracting candidates.
  • Conduct in-person interviews to evaluate candidates thoroughly.
  • Mentor and develop entry-level sales consultants in the office.
  • Participate in the proposal process by developing and pitching proposals.
  • Negotiate commercial terms of business and rates.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in staffing or B2B sales environment.
  • Experience in prospecting and closing business.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and sales tools (Zoominfo, LinkedIn recruiter, job boards, etc.).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Positive attitude and desire to win, thriving on challenges and achieving quotas.
  • Adaptable and able to think on your feet in new situations.
  • Coachable and dedicated to continuous self-improvement.
