About the position

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at DISH, you will be part of an award-winning Inside Sales & Retention team that plays a crucial role in influencing customer decision-making. This position is focused on selling the value of DISH's products and services through a consultative approach, ensuring that both new and existing customers receive the best possible solutions tailored to their needs. The role is entirely inbound, meaning you will not engage in cold calling, allowing you to focus on building relationships with customers who are already interested in our offerings. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your sales skills and grow your career within a company that generates over $17 billion in revenue. DISH provides comprehensive training and development resources to help you succeed. Your primary responsibilities will include successfully selling DISH and Boost Mobile products, assessing customer needs, and maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction. You will also be expected to document customer information accurately and manage your time effectively to meet sales goals. Responsibilities

  • Successfully sell DISH and Boost Mobile products and services to new and existing customers
  • Assess each customer's needs and offer the best value
  • Demonstrate resilience and maintain focus on larger goals
  • Effectively manage time and be open to learning new methods
  • Build and maintain customer relationships
  • Document customer information including demographic and billing details
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • High school diploma; college graduates preferred
  • Ability to work full-time, on-site in one of our Direct Sales facilities
  • Open availability to work provided schedules
  • Possess a smartphone or other device with an active network connection

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in sales or customer service
