About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Percepto is a pivotal role focused on expanding the company's client base by identifying and generating new business opportunities. This position involves outbound prospecting efforts, initial customer communication, and collaboration with various teams to introduce Percepto's innovative autonomous inspection and monitoring solutions to potential enterprise clients. The SDR will be the first point of contact for customers, requiring strong relationship-building skills and a passion for technology.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting, including cold calling, emailing, and social outreach to identify and qualify potential customers.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of leads by researching and targeting companies that could benefit from Percepto's solutions.
  • Generate interest in Percepto's autonomous drone-in-a-box and other solutions by educating prospects on the value of our technology.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to set up meetings and hand off qualified leads for further engagement.
  • Respond to, engage with, and qualify inbound leads and inquiries and work to achieve targets on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Maintain and update accurate records of all prospecting activities and leads in CRM tools.
  • Work closely with Marketing to execute targeted outreach campaigns and gather insights on market trends and customer needs.
  • Work closely with Sales to develop market intelligence, use case opportunities and more.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and product developments to effectively communicate the benefits of Percepto's solutions.
  • Explore and identify new sales opportunity forums.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation and pipeline building.

Requirements

  • Experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in a B2B or technology environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone, email, and social media.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn about technology solutions, especially in drones and AI.
  • Ability to research, identify, and target potential business opportunities.
  • Capability of understanding customer pain points and requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesloft) is a plus.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate with a distributed sales team.
  • Strong analytical thinker.
  • Ability to promote a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables.
  • Willingness to grow within the Sales organization and take on additional responsibilities.
