About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) for Google Cloud's Security team plays a crucial role in driving new business by prospecting new customers, building relationships, and qualifying leads. This position involves collaborating with the sales team to develop and execute effective sales strategies, ultimately helping customers leverage Google Security products to transform their businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect for new customers through cold calling, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Qualify leads and develop relationships with potential customers.
  • Schedule appointments for the sales team through inbound and outbound prospecting channels.
  • Track progress towards sales goals and report to management.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute business strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in sales or a related field.
  • Experience working both individually and collaboratively as part of a team.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the security industry.
  • Experience with outbound prospecting tools (i.e., Salesloft, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo).
  • Experience generating new business opportunities.
  • Experience in CRM software (i.e., Salesforce).
  • Knowledge of Google Security products and services.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, prospecting, and relationship building skills.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $117,000-$172,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
